With my old 4-tuner Series 3 TiVo there were times when I would get up in the morning and all the tuners were busy recording shows so I couldn’t watch the morning news because there was no available tuner for the TiVO Mini.
That never happens with this unit. Once I installed the cable card, Comcast was able to activate it over the phone without a technician coming out. Every now and then it loses the signal between the TiVo and the TiVo Mini, and I have to re-boot both units to get them working again.
